It is a flagship eco-initiative launched through a partnership between the Department of Environment (DoE) – Dhaka Region, Green Savers, and the BSRM Foundation. The project aims to eliminate single-use plastics from school campuses, promote eco-friendly lifestyle choices, and transform students into active environmental leaders.

There are over 4.5 Lac rooftops in Dhaka city alone, but only around 2% has any greenery on them. Green Savers was created simply to fill the city with green roofs and teach citizens to care about the environment around them.
